Why it matters
A sitemap tells Google and Bing which pages exist and when they changed. On a small, well-linked site it's a safety net; on a new site, or one with pages few others link to, it's how those pages get found at all.
Hand-written sitemaps go wrong in small ways: an unescaped &, a non-https address, the same page twice with and without a slash, or an admin page that shouldn't be there. This generator catches all of those.

How to use it
- Enter your site's https address.
- Paste your pages, one per line, with an optional date.
- List any paths to leave out and fix anything in the checks.
- Download sitemap.xml, upload it to your site's root, and add the Sitemap line to robots.txt.
FAQ
Do I need changefreq and priority?
No. Google ignores both. A correct lastmod date (only changed when the content really changes) is what helps.
How many pages can a sitemap hold?
50,000 URLs or 50 MB. Above that, split it into several sitemaps and list them in a sitemap index.
Where do I put it?
Usually at https://yoursite/sitemap.xml. Then add 'Sitemap: https://yoursite/sitemap.xml' to robots.txt and submit it in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
Should noindex pages be in it?
No. List only pages you want in search results, that return 200 and aren't redirected.
