Why it matters
A link without a share image looks like an afterthought in WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Slack and X, and gets fewer clicks. Most small sites don't have one because it means opening a design app for every page.
This maker produces the standard 1200×630 image (a 1.91:1 ratio that every major network crops well) with safe margins, so titles aren't cut off in square previews. It writes the meta tags too, including the image size, which helps some networks show the image the first time the link is shared.
How to use it
- Type the title and subtitle, and your brand name.
- Choose a style and accent colour, and add a logo or photo if you like.
- Check the warnings, then download a PNG or JPEG.
- Upload the image to your site and paste the tags into the page's <head>.
FAQ
What size should an OG image be?
1200×630 pixels. It's the size Facebook, LinkedIn and X recommend for large previews, and it scales down cleanly.
PNG or JPEG?
PNG for flat colours and text, JPEG if you've added a photo, as it'll be much smaller. Keep it under 5 MB; under 300 KB is ideal.
Why doesn't my new image show when I share the link?
Networks cache previews. Use LinkedIn's Post Inspector or Facebook's Sharing Debugger to make them fetch it again.
Are my logo and photo uploaded?
No. They're drawn onto a canvas in your browser.
